- Greetings! I have been a teacher of Language Arts and Social Studies since 1996. I started my career in San Francisco, California. I've been at Longs Peak since 2013, and would not want to be anywhere else. I truly love the students here; they make me smile every single day! I've earned my degrees in English and Education from the University of Colorado, Boulder and my Masters in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Learners from the University of Colorado, Denver. In my spare time, I like to hike, spend time with my husband and son, and read books of all kinds.
